Career and Technical Education (CTE) in Salem City Schools provides students in grades 6-12 with opportunities to explore and develop skills for productive futures while addressing the community’s need for highly trained and industry-certified workers. CTE programs in Salem emphasize the importance of career readiness by offering courses and pathways that prepare students for success in a competitive workforce. Salem students have the opportunity to earn diploma seals for career and technical achievement, earn industry credentials, and integrate Career Pathways into each student’s Academic and Career Plan.
